Low Water Pressure: The Most Common Causes in Greenbrier Homes

Low pressure in one tap is usually that tap. Low pressure everywhere is usually a supply, regulator, or main-line problem. Knowing which one you have changes the fix completely.
One Tap Only
Check the aerator or showerhead for scale, and the supply valves under that fixture. Hard water scale is a common culprit in Middle Tennessee.
Every Tap
Check the main shutoff is fully open, test pressure, and consider the regulator. A failed regulator can let pressure swing or drop, and a corroded galvanised main line can narrow flow throughout the house.
Hot Water Only
Low hot-water pressure alone points to the heater, its shutoff, or scale in hot-water lines, not the whole supply.
